Barefoot Path Experience

When was the last time you walked barefoot through a forest? A good option to experience this can be found at Nienhagen. Unlike other barefoot paths it is not concentrated in one place. You can walk 2.5 kilometers and every now and then there is something special.

A barefoot path is a walking route on which special sensory impressions and the associated relaxation can be experienced by walking barefoot. Shorter footpaths with different floor materials, but also kilometer-long barefoot hiking trails are summarized under this term. Such leisure activities serve the purpose of promoting health and exercise skills. It starts with a dune of sand and a small mountain to climb up. The route is clearly marked by signs in the form of feet. You can test how it feels to walk on wood, stone, gravel, clay balls and cones. You can walk through mud, take a wooden ladder and cross a river.

Feeling wood, stones, bark mulch, lawn, clay, mud and water should convey a special stimulus, train concentration, strengthen the musculoskeletal system and strengthen the immune system. At the end of the path you can clean and relax your feet in a small river.
