MIRA observatory

MIRA (The Monterey Institute for Research in Astronomy) is the oldest public observatory in Belgium, founded in 1967 by Norbertine Godfried Pieraerts.

Discover astronomical observations, interactive star maps, countless experiments, models, a planetarium and impressive observation instruments including a whole collection of telescopes in the center. This collection is the most extensive collection of astronomical instruments owned by a Belgian observatory. There is also a weather station.
